WKRP Redux

A lot of people have sent us nice emails wishing us luck in our move back to Cincinnati but Scott Parker took the cake when he reworked the WKRP theme to fit my particular situation. Awesomeness.

Hey there, if you’ve ever wondered,

Wondered whatever became of me,
I’m living on the web in Cincinnati,
Cincinnati, Web 2.0 for me.

Got kind of tired packing and unpacking,
Town to town, then SF for a while,
Maybe it was all the tie dye out in Berkeley,
Now please don’t forget to FTP that file…

I’m at Web Two Zero P in Cincinnati..

For those of you who are under 30 (or from outside North America) here’s a large group rendition of the song led by Booty Collins to help you learn the tune.

Mark Celsor Wins Second Place in Wired’s Saddest-Cubicle Contest

A few years back my old office in San Francisco flooded, everyone crowded into the second floor office, and I set up a make-shift desk with an old filing cabinet. A photo of these incredibly lame working conditions has earned me my 15-minutes of internet fame with second place in Wired’s Saddest-Cubicle Contest. I was edged out by a guy who was surrounded by filing cabinets and jammed into the corner of a conference room, so I missed out on the fancy, $19, robot-shaped, web cam, grand prize.
